About Me
As an evolutionary behavioral ecologist, my research seeks to understand the ecological and evolutionary factors shaping behavioral development. I am particularly interested in how ecological factors during development shape patterns of behavioral individuality throughout life as well as in how development mediates variation in behavioral responses to environmental change, influencing further responses to selection in novel environments. My work combines theory and empirical tests, focusing on freshwater ecosystems, with a particular empirical concentration on Poecilid fishes (i.e., the Amazon molly (Poecilia formosa) and the Trinidadian guppy (Poecilia reticulata)) and daphnids (Daphnia spp.) as model systems in ecology, development, and evolution.

When I'm not working, I'm likely enjoying some mix of knitting, yoga, hiking, and the Berlin club scene.
